Many anglers have been brainwashed to believe that heavy fishing pressure has made today’s bass so lure shy and paranoid that you have to use finesse baits to catch them. If that’s true, then why are so many pros sacking heavyweight bass with super-sized lures like 6-inch and larger swimbaits, 10- to 12-inch plastic worms, 1-ounce rattle baits, huge deep-diving crankbaits, big-bladed spinnerbaits and 3/4-ounce and heavier jigs?
