There’s no question that largemouth bass have an affinity for wood cover. The reason for this likely revolves around the predator/prey relationship. Shadowy cover provides a security sphere for smaller bass hiding from larger predators, as well as offering camouflaged concealment to juvenile and adult bass as they lie in wait for their own prey. Provide cover and bass will find it.
