Fall fishing is excellent. It’s different than any other time of the year because crappie are recovering from a battle with long, hot weather to a period more suitable for everyday living. Daily changes take place as major weather patterns move through, and the shorter daylight hours lower the water temperature.
The structures you fish will also change throughout this season, as crappie move locations from the start of cooling water in September until December and January when the water gets cold.
