Bass can be finicky eaters. Changes in the weather and the water temperature as well as factors like the sun coming out or going behind a cloud can make bass decide it’s time to eat or time to hunker down in the weeds and vegetate. When bass don’t want to bite, many anglers call it a day and head home. Some anglers, however, don’t have the luxury of heading for the dock when the fishing gets tough.
Professional tournament fishermen have to constantly have tricks up their sleeves to motivate fish and get them to strike. If they don’t put fish in the boat, the checks stop coming and the sponsorships dry up and go away.
